Comet Burgers is one of my favorite diners to go to in Royal Oak. I really like the 80's diner vibe in the atmosphere and reinforced with the long bar that stretches from one end of the restaurant to the other. My order included the Jalapeño Peppers along with the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I have a special type of weakness for deep fired jalapeño peppers stuffed with cream cheese. This is a great little hole in the wall burger joint! They make the best sliders I have had in a long time and the seasoned waffle fries were both delicious! The way we found this place was looking for a quick bite to eat before going to a comedy show. It was a Friday night with less than a half-hour to showtime. We were greeted right away got a seat at the bar and ordered within minutes. I would recommend this place for good food with quick service!
Stopped in before a show. This is very cool retro restaurant. They have awesome milkshakes, great sliders and fries. They also serve a good variety of sandwiches. They offer a number of different types of fries. Our food was served up fast and there was nothing left once we were done (it was good). They don't have tables that seat more than a few people, so we ate at the counter. If you are in the area, stop in.
One of the best chicken cheese stake I had. Perfect portion of chicken and bread. I felt that onion and pepper was bit less. It tasted fresh. I also loved their Oreo desert. Food was priced right and service was friendly and prompt. I would recommend this for cheese steak.
