Our server was very attentive, and did an excellent job. The ambience, though, wasn't great it felt much more like a diner than a grille. The food was OK, reasonably priced had the atmosphere been different. There was also a VERY loud group of 15+ seated in the middle of the restaurant, making it difficult for everyone else to have a regular conversation. I'd have considered putting such a large group somewhere less central.
the service was slow from the second in which we went, and the restaurant was not even busy. we got broth that was so hard that I could have broken a tooth. each party ordered an salad from the menu with grilled chicken. after 45 minutes our food finally arrived. that he seemed to be cooked, not grilled. it was barely edible. would never return to this restaurant!
Booked table for a nice dinner while on vacation in Florida. Dark and drab decor, waitress apologized for lack of view (car park) She was very pleasant but appeared very inexperienced. Kept dropping things. Brought us the wrong starter and the wrong sides. Food was cold, bland and extremely basic. No ambiance whatsoever.
I tried to cancel my reservation, but it wouldn't allow me to opentable, so I called it and they said no. I didn't leave, but they can't book another reservation if they already have a current one, so I tried to cancel. that is a terrible restaurant. Book a table now
We ate out at 10 different restaurants 10 nights in a row. The Compass Grille was definitely the best. What it lacked in ambience, it made up for in taste. If you're looking for quality and value, this is it.
Great place for a Birthday celebration. The staff was amazing and seemed to go above and beyond. Will definitely return.
It was a cluster. It took like 30 minutes to get a drink and the food was terrible. Highly do not recommend.
