While she was sweeping the floor. Seemed to me she didn’t feel like working and was trying to stall. The she got mad when we asked if there was any limes and couldn’t believe they didn’t have any and she thought we were accusing her of being a liar. When we said we couldn’t believe there was no limes. Then she offered to call the manager on herself: so we just shook it off and told her we didn’t call her a liar… to make matters worse she starts telling all the other waitresses and pointing at our table. Sadly, this place wasn't what I was hoping for ? I've always wanted to try Connie's and heard from a friend it wasn't all that. But I always have to see for myself when trying new eats. Unfortunately, the food's not all that. Definitely have had better. My friend and I split the fried catfish entree and for $13 (no drinks just water) was not worth it. Or big enough. Managers and servers are the worst here , I applied like 3 times here to be a server but I guess they just racist and don't want girls that can talk English and Spanish , when I walked in the serves looked at me ugly and were just standing there doing nothing . I asked for help in Spanish and they just said to go to the cashiers all rude , the manager came and I told her if I can apply and she said no because the team was already complete and then after she decided to give me the paper because I told her that's not how a manager supposed to be. OMG...oysters , Connie's special was 2 fillers and 2 stuffed crab,shrimp fried rice and ffies...should have just stayed with the oysters..along with 2 superb micheladas...my night is over...5 stars only because I can't put 6
The fried rice is amazeballs. Love to get the special fried rice with everything on it. The service is rather slow or they go to every1 else but me, even when not busy. Food is always amazing though.
