I had high hopes for the food at Cafe on the Corner, but unfortunately, we were unable to try it. Our drinks were promptly delivered, although one was incorrect. However, after waiting for half an hour, we were still waiting for our two sandwiches and soup. The waitress apologized for the delay and explained that the order had been lost. She assured us that it would be expedited and ready in 10 minutes. However, after waiting 25 minutes, we were given the same excuse and still did not receive our food after an hour. Feeling very disappointed, we paid for our drinks and left. Just be mindful of the time when dining here!
The cafe was very busy but we got a table inside. It needed to be cleared and the staff were there quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful. We just had toasted sandwiches but they were very good with plenty of filling. There was fresh water put on the table for us as well. The cakes looked good but we didn't have room so we got them to take away. Overall a very nice experience. It is also a deli so I got bits and pieces to take home.
We stopped here just by accident. My friend and I both had the best breakfast of our lives ever. It is a very nice little deli/ café place with very kind and friendly staff. Food was beautifully served and sooooo delicious. Cucumber water: so tasty and fresh. We also took some perfect raspberries, hhmmmm, dream. This is a very charming, lovely little place. Definitely 110% recommended.
What a great deli and cafe! Our food was lovely, the staff were friendly, and the selection of deli items available to buy was excellent. It’s almost a mini supermarket of delicious food. Would be a great place to stock up with local savoury and sweet treats if staying in self catering accommodation. The cheese, the bread, the pies, the cakes …..

Visited today with a friend and my 3 dogs. Staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Immediately brought water for the dogs and stopped to speak to them every time they passed. Food (quiche of the day) and coffee very tasty too but friendliness and helpfulness of staff made for an outstanding visit.
Go here often for either lunch or coffee and cake. Food always good and excellent staff. Only reason not 5 star is I hate seeing a service charge on the bill. If you want more money stick it on the price of food and not a sneaky charge at the end.
A busy place because it is so popular but we got seats due to the organisation of the staff. Lovely friendly atmosphere, friendly staff. quick service and absolutely fabulous food. We had the venison burger and can highly recommend this.
Friendly service in a deli cum café serving good quality local produce. Particularly good wine and cheese selection. We visited at lunchtime on a Friday, lovely mix of locals and passers-through.
