My girlfriend was being nice and just brought me a 2 piece whiting plate from this place and it was terrible.? Apparently, the owners thought it was a good idea to slice the filets in half and fry them the same way as full size filets without customers noticing.??? The ½ cut filets were fried so hard with so much coating that it turned to jerky. I had to use a fork to scrape the thin layer of fish from inside the thick coating. It was way more cornmeal coating than actual fish ? ?. The tartar sauce looked coagulated and tasted highly acidic as if it was made weeks ago and sat until sold, highly inedible.? The wings are always fried to perfection, and they serve the best fries! Their peach drink is amazing as well. However, I've noticed that American Deli's peach drink can be hit or miss depending on the location. My only complaint is that they never seem to have the food ready when you call in to place an order—it feels like they wait until you arrive, which kind of defeats the purpose of calling ahead. Other than that, the food is fantastic, and the service is good. I've been a regular at this location since 2017 and have never had any problems. One downside: parking is limited in the lot.
I ordered 10 honey garlic pepper wings and parmesan garlic wings, paying an extra $0.50 for a mix of flavors, along with shrimp fried rice. The customer service was quite rude when I placed my order. I had to call back to inquire about the wait time, and she told me it would be 15 minutes. I didn't receive a drink with my combo unless I had ordered it with fries. When my food arrived, it was not hot, the parmesan garlic was very salty, and there was no hint of honey garlic flavor; it just tasted like plain chicken. I will not be returning.
Their Philly cheesesteak combo is always good and served with fresh fries everytime. They're really good at having your pickup order hot ready! the wings are really good and they have a quiet good setup for just opening up but when I called I placed my order and I was still talking saying does that come with a drink and then she just hung up in my face other than that Ive had a really good experience here
Very good wings, if you like spicy, the extra hot is actually really hot. None of that sort of hot bs. Very crispy and not very expensive. Worth a trip. Lady behind the counter is very nice too.
Top 3 fav wings spot in atlanta and not number 3. They're wings are always a hit and I've tried just about every flavor that I like lol but yeah. They also have good fried rice
The lady yelled at me then hung up on for asking about the menu. Conversation lasted 45sec and the fried rice is mushy as if it's pre-cooked and BEEN SITTING3:44pm 1-28-22
