Ordered via Just eat food arrived for the 3rd time in recent orders incomplete. this time missing Medium chips. Phoned up to inform of error which was confirmed by the counter staff. Heard 'he 's kicking off ' in conversation with chef I had only stated item was missing and refund via just eat was a pain to get. Staff confirmed the chips had not been dispatched no offer to send replacement. When I mentioned that I had overheard the conversation I was now kicking off to compain that was poor customer service I got a tirade along the lines of have you heard yourself what about your customer service. Disappointed as have used this chippy for years . Now looking elsewhere.
Was recommended this place by a lady on reception where we were staying. Absolutely beautiful food, my partner had cod and chips, my niece had just chips and I had halloumi and chips. Absolutely lovely food. Downside is they no longer have Cod Roe on the menu apparently (I specifically asked the person who recommended this place if anywhere nearby sold this, which is why she recommended here) so was a little disappointed by this, however thoroughly enjoyed my meal regardless. This set us up for the long journey back home to Liverpool. Will return again next time. Man on the counter was very smiley, happy and inviting.
Popped in for an early dinner with the kids as we’ve had takeaway from here before and the food was amazing once again, the lovely lady who served us was so friendly and welcoming, there were 8 of us and nothing seemed stressful like it can be when eating in a large group, especially one with kids! The food arrived quickly, mixed items for all of us but I had the pulled pork chips with Louisiana coating and it was lovely, a huge portion too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, decent food, decent price and great staff.
We decided to order based on reviews from TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We ordered a large serving of fish and chips that easily satisfied both of us, as we both have hearty appetites and were full afterwards. Our only complaint was the price, but the quality of the food and the delicious curry sauce and gravy made up for it. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they also offer Saveloys, which is rare at most fish and chip shops these days, as they mostly focus on battered sausages.

We tried their fish and chips after reading all the 5 star reviews. We got take away at the time. Well, I can understand why they got the 5 stars! The food was done to perfection! Today we ate in. My brother had jumbo sausage and chips and I had the cheesy chicken chomper. The waitress chrissy was really friendly and made sure we were satisfied. We are definitely going back for more! You really need to visit this place!!!
A very friendly and welcoming restaurant, the BEST FISH AND CHIPS I've had in a long, long time. We will definitely go again and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves proper FISH and CHIPS. THANK YOU FOR A SUPERB LUNCH. THE REAL DEAL XX.
We’ve been going to this place for 5 years and normally can’t rate it highly enough. Today very disappointed chips tasted like they had been kept warm and scraps.The fish had thick dark batter Hoping this was just a one off

Early evening Dinner. One of our favourite places to eat. Such friendly service and always with a smile. Never greasy, and always satisfied. Would recomend as best chippy.
