My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it's a pretty good spot for breakfast. The quiet and somewhat secluded atmosphere is a nice touch. We always order the on-the-run sandwich, which is solid and earns an 8/10—definitely a reliable choice. I also tried the French toast meal, but that was disappointing, earning just a 3/10. It was during my pregnancy, and I found the hash browns and French toast to be quite dry. The coffee is okay, nothing special, but it gets the job done. If you're planning to visit, I recommend sticking to the breakfast sandwiches. We haven't tried their lunch offerings yet.
I work in the area and this place is a hidden low key gem. I've eaten here a handful of times (still exploring their menu) and I've never ordered something I didn't like. Their Chinese Chicken Salad is AMAZING. The dressing is light, it's refreshing, the wonton crisps are so thin and fried to perfection.I would come back again and again just for that salad. I did wish they stayed open later, but a great breakfast/lunch spot.
The employees are very friendly and accommodating. I inquired about ordering poached eggs to which I was informed they don't do. Just a few seconds after saying no, the person who took my order offered to try to make them. He did an amazing job and they turned out great. Tasty food, excellent customer service, and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
This place has a delightful assortment of treats, including ice cream bars, chips, and cookies. The music was enjoyable—instrumental with a jazzy vibe, which I really liked. Overall, I give the food a perfect 5 out of 5!
