The Costa in Haydock offers the typical experience you would expect from the chain, but stands out thanks to its friendly and helpful staff. As a regular visitor after my weekly Tesco trip, I enjoy spending time here with a great cup of coffee, a snack, and the newspapers. The carrot cake and lemon cake are particularly delicious, and George the barista's skills in creating a beautiful fern design on my coconut flat white are impressive. The only downside is that some of the decor and chairs appear tired and mismatched, suggesting that a refurbishment is needed. Despite this, the store is kept very clean.
Has we arrived at the Tesco in Haydock we decided to nip upstairs for a coffee at Costa, we checked out what was available food wise which didn't take our fancy and neither did the prices, we order two lattes both ladies serving had glitter in their hair chunks of it not net covering it at all, we was concerned this would come off in someone's food or drink, when our drinks was ready they where put on a tray which looked like it hadn't be washed in months brown stains all round and looking unclean... Sorry won't be visiting again.
After waiting for about 5 minutes, we got our drinks and found a seat. An older woman then began mopping the floors and blocked off other seating areas, telling customers they couldn't sit there because she was cleaning. It was only 1.55pm at the time. We felt like we were being inconvenienced and decided to leave. We don't plan on visiting this Costa again. Thank you, but no thank you. #badattitudetocustomerswhopayyourwage
This place is situated in Tesco store in Haydock it's a pleasure to call in after my wife a I have been shopping all the staff are very cheerful and always ready to stop and have a quick chat nothing seems to much bother for them The place is very clean with the staff mopping up all the time

I love dining at this restaurant. I frequently meet up with a friend here. The staff are very friendly and the quality of the food and coffee is consistent with what you would expect from Costa. The restaurant is always clean and tidy.
Went for a coffee with the family and they had started clearing up 3 hours before they closed, we had to sit on different tables. Some of the staff were rude about other customers in front of me. Place needs a good clean
A good place to treat yourself to a special hot chocolate and a cake just before or after shopping. A nice relaxed cafe with good service but there are no menu/info boards with prices.
Nothing out of the ordinary for this coffee bar. It's clean and has the full range of products. Good for when you've finished your shop at the downstairs Tesco

You've goto try there carrot and walnut cake and you can take out if you want to there coffee's are really good value for money and the staff are very helpful
Not one knows how to make a decent latte. Too much froth and not enough actual milk..so not good....
