WOW… what a surprise. Near the hotel, and tired as I was after 24 hours of travelling, I needed something small, tasty and quick. Popped into this place, and was truly pleasantly surprised. What can I say… it was perfect for what I needed this...evening. POSITIVE POINTS: The place is spotless. Clean and pleasant in every sense of the word. The décor is amazing, with details alluding to Italy, as expected. And… I must admit, just a nice place to let your hair down, and simply enjoy. on Saturday friends came to costa for lunch. I knew they would love it, and they did it. pizzas, pastas and seafood, all with this authentic Italian taste. I had spaghetti puttanesca for the first time. Our family had a delicious Dinner here the other night. I visit Surfers often and I don't go into this restaurant much and being a later dinner I was worried I missed my chance but I was able to walk in and get a table....This restaurant does get very busy. Service was great and I had no problem placing order. I had the spinach and chicken salad, hubby had the chicken parma and son had the spaghetti and meatballs. Being from an Italian background we were blown away by the quality. Even my cocktail (Midori Lagoon) wasn't shy of alcohol like a lot of places around there do, usually leaving me wondering what I was paying for! they were about the years in this restaurant and eating was very good and the staff warm and friendly. two visits last year were the opposite, the food breast, service rushed and no warm from the staff. most...a visit we met with a scarce 10% discount plus a 1.5% credit card surcharge. we were not aware of it at any time. we have paid in register after an account has not been delivered to the table and the account has not been displayed until after payment, snarchy. I looked at the account shortly after leaving, felt demolished. that's not Australian anywhere in the country.

we went from this place, and it was full of men. I didn't think too much of it, it was an overpriced tourist trap. a family member was really hungry, so decide to eat there anyway. I was wrong. eating is great and generous. the drinks were good and the people who worked there were polite and friendly. in any case worth a try!
After just returning from Venice Italy, I have to say the food here is on par if not better. Wow, what a great restaurant. It's been a while since we have had friendly staff and prompt service. The pasta and pizza are on were awesome....With a great atmosphere and all the above, definitely worth it.
family of 5. 3 adult children. I had a nice dinner here. if they like their Italian, this is the place to eat. the staff are kindly attentive to their needs. my dear to the parmesan cheese.
skip this place terrible I ordered a pizza wow worst on the planet and they call themselves best Italian on the gold coast haha what a sweat even after.
