In Dee Why Grand Shopping Center on the ground floor is Di Costi fishmonger. They selling a huge variety of good quality seafood, but not for the lowest price. If you want to pay less, go to Coles or Woolworth. These supermarkets ask for less,...but you can't have the mouth watering fish and chips, that Di Costi offers to you. The fish is consistently fresh and tasty, while the chips are usually good, although they can occasionally be inconsistent in quality. It seems like they may need to change their oil more frequently, as sometimes the chips taste like they were cooked in dirty oil. We have been dining here for years and the kids always enjoy the grilled and battered fish.
Excellent find, this Costi’s always has friendly staff, clean premises and food that looks so fresh. We love a quick takeaway from here and the prices are very reasonable. We are now regulars!
