Today was my second experience ordering from this restaurant, and once again, my order was messed up. The first time, I ordered two pizzas, and both were made incorrectly—either toppings were missing, or toppings meant for one pizza ended up on the other. This time, I ordered a pizza and an antipasto salad. Unfortunately, my pizza was made wrong again, lacking any crust flavoring; it was completely dry and honestly unappetizing. To make matters worse, my salad was missing the salami entirely. The food is too expensive to be disappointed each time I order. I feel completely ripped off every time.
We decided to try Cottage Inn because they offer vegan cheese, which is great for my wife who has a dairy allergy. She really enjoyed the pizza. We ordered a regular cheese pizza for the rest of the family, and while it was decent, I thought it was a bit lacking in both cheese and sauce. We also ordered breadsticks, but they arrived cold. We will definitely give them another chance for the vegan cheese option, and hopefully, our experience will be better overall next time. Dietary note: My wife was pleased to find a place that provides vegan cheese so she could enjoy pizza.
Cottage inn has always been our go to pizza place. We love the inn sticks. But what we got today was completely gross. The inn sticks were short, flat and not cooked all the way through. For the amount of money that you pay for pizza delivery this was 100% not worth it. Not to mention that the delivery instruction were to put in chair on porch, the guy just set the food on the porch in front of the door. Will not recommend the westland cottage inn ever again!!! We will now be in search of another pizza place to make our go to.
Ordered and paid, delivery didn’t show after an hour and 45 minutes I called and was assured they would be there quickly, after another 45 minutes I was put on hold and had to hang up and call again, was told they didn’t know what happened so I told them cancel the order and refund me. They did without apology or reason. Will never spend another dollar there. Been a customer for over 15 years. Do ur self a favor and go to zinos.

I used to work at the cottage inn in West Lansing and we had homemade dough made 2 times a week the fact that this cottage inn calls themselves gormet pizza and not have homemade dough is a joke. Besides that, no crust flavoring was used on both apple pizza and our deluxe large pizza. I love cottage inn and was looking forward to it I will never spend a dime at this place again go to any other cottage inn you won't regret it.
Cottage Inn could improve their crust, but the staff were friendly and made my pizza pickup a very pleasant experience. Thank you!
