I was recently on a trip from my home in Australia to visit my father who lives in Contin, and we had the most fantastic dinner in your Restaurant. We booked only a few hours before but you were very understanding and managed to fit the three of us in. The food was outstanding and was complemented by the wine list. The service offered by all of the staff from the time we entered until we left was fabulous. Unfortunately we did not stay in the hotel, but would certainly consider it on our next visit. This was a real highlight of our visit home to Scotland and seeing the smile on my father's face at how much we loved it was priceless. Thank you
We loved staying here, this place is a real gem of a classic Scottish hotel. The dinner we had in the hotel restaurant was superb: really enjoyed the level of service we received. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent, one of the best we had on our trip through Scotland. Rooms: A bit smaller than we'd hoped for, but clean and very comfortable Food drinks: Loved the cozy bar with the fireplace. The level of service was excellent. We really enjoyed the delicious food and classic dining room experience.
We visited the restaurant and were seated in a special room with a fireplace for our aperitif where we could choose our meal. Our table was set up while we were in the room. My husband was very impressed with the food options, but unfortunately there were limited choices for me due to my dietary restrictions. The bread and lentils were delicious. The only fish option was salmon, which my husband had to eat on my behalf. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
I just want to express my gratitude for the fantastic birthday celebration you hosted for our family on Saturday. The cakes, afternoon tea, and service were impeccable. Stuart, Lara, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make it a truly special day that will be cherished and remembered by all of us. Thank you!
