I sedom write a bad review. Today is the exception. Last night I had the misfortune of dining at Crab and Fin, and let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish.Upon arrival, the host seemed more interested in the tennis match blaring on the television than in acknowledging our presence. After finally tearing his eyes away from the screen, he grunted something about heading upstairs. We decided to visit Crab Fin for dinner on a Wednesday evening during Spring Break around 6:30 pm. The restaurant was packed with a line of people waiting outside the front entrance. We noticed a gentleman who was hosting patrons for the outside patio dining area, and I approached him and asked how long it would be until he could seat a party of two. Although the outside dining area also looked to capacity, he was able to find us a table within minutes.Our waiter, Anthony, was attentive and friendly and was able to suggest some options from the menu that we might enjoy. Ordered the Alaskan King Crab and it was awful (and for $38 for 5 legs). Extremely watery with no salt. And no melted butter was served with crab either. And one of our guests got sick during the night as a result. Was told that the crab was very fresh and not frozen and that’s why it wasn’t salted? I’ve had a lot of crab over the years and this is by far the worst. Pretty bad for a restaurant with CRAB in its name. Other apps/ entrees were underwhelming also. The only good item was the lobster bisque.
Wonderful experience. Delicious food, so fresh and the service… Our server Jason was the best, so attentive, friendly and accommodating. The Manager, Frank was wonderful and situated us at the best table available and was courteous and checked on us frequently, so friendly.Highly recommended!
