We had a fantastic experience at the Cracker Barrel in Cross Lanes! My husband and I enjoyed two pork chops, along with a baked sweet potato and cucumber salad, plus biscuits and muffins. He sipped on sweet tea while I had regular black coffee and water with lemon. We always have a great time at this restaurant, both here and in Kanawha City. The young man who served us was excellent, and the young lady who cleared the tables chatted with us for a while. I highly recommend Cracker Barrel to everyone! Our granddaughter-in-law works there a few nights a week. She also works for NGK Spark Plug, but Cracker Barrel treats its employees very well.
I ordered takeout last night, and everything, from the customer service to the food, was outstanding! Elena provided excellent customer service; she was very friendly and helpful. I was also impressed by how quickly my order was ready. Even when I returned home to Charleston, the food was still hot. The Chicken and Dumplings were absolutely delicious, along with the Green Beans, Carrots, and Biscuit! Thank you so much, Cracker Barrel, for a fantastic dinner!
Stopped in to check out the store and found that the Woodwick candles were on sale, some up to 40% off!! Bought too many candles and looked at their themed clothing. There are many clothing themes from seaside to country flowers, and within each theme are sizes from newborn to adult M/W. Highly recommend the bomb pop mimosas. The iced coffees with whipped cream looked really good too.
The service was friendly and the restaurant was spotless. Our larger party enjoyed breakfast, and everyone was very pleased with their meals. Our server, Summer, was attentive and exceptionally pleasant and courteous—she would make a great role model for servers everywhere. I hope management recognizes her outstanding work. Thank you, Cracker Barrel, for a delightful visit!

I had fried the country steak potatoes and baby carrots very tasty my wife had a veggie dinner that she also loved the waitress was very polite student talk with us a few minutes very good atmosphere will come again and again.
Cold and snowing outside but warm and inviting inside. Great staff and great meal. I had the best seat in the house. Thanks to all the staff who stayed in bad weather to take care of us weary travelers far from home!
Country Fried Turkey, yum! Great service. 30 minute wait on a Friday evening. Social distancing in the restaurant but not in the store. This afternoon-no wait, great service. Not a crumb was left from the 7 of us.
