Drove 1.5 hours straight to this establishment and ran into some traffic due to wreck. It is Sunday, Restaurant closed at 9 but we arrived at 845. Patricia asked us if we wanted takeout due to them closing in 15 minutes but we just needed a hot meal before we continue on our 6 hr journey. A nice young server came to sit us. We visit Cracker Barrels all over US about 50 times a yr so didn't need menus to order. Ordered by 848. Food came out at 9. I have never had such a terrible experience at a Cracker Barrel as I did last evening. I waited over 20 mins for a table, it was after 8:00 pm and there was over half the tables available to seat people. Our order was completely wrong when we received it. No sawmill gravy on my husband and my chicken fried chicken. My daughter ordered loaded mashed potatoes which came out with nothing in them. My other daughter ordered loaded mashed steak and chicken and received chicken and shrimp which was over cooked. I came in for the Friday Fish Fry and was informed that there would be none available for 20 minutes while a fresh batch cooked. The restaurant was only about 30% occupied so I would attribute this to poor planning of the 1st order. The highlight of my visit were my two servers, one of which was being trained. His name was Roman I believe. He was very polite and attentive. The prime server training him was friendly, polite and very efficient. An excellent role model for trainees. She was pretty cute too, to say the least. The two of them made the switch to shrimp from friday fish a seamless and tolerable experience.

I love you guys so much. I have gate kept this location far too long. Riders of the day and night, this location is a must stop by and try. The food is fresh , tasty, and comes out fast. The staff welcomed loveing and very professional. customers like family as we as the staff this was a calming tasty very relaxing experience. It was my pleasure traveling through. this is not my first time here, nor will it be my last. Thank you. Please give them all raises and bonuses.
