Visiting Ossining after 14 years and being raised in Ossining from 6 to 17 years old and finally finding a Jamaican restaurant with delicious Oxtail and Peas and rice, the best. I moved to Vegas and found one Jamaican restaurant that was pretty good, but going back to my hometown and my brother and cousin introduced us to great Carribean food. We ate it for 3 days literally and my friend came from New Rochelle and ate the rest. What does that say...lol Plenty of food at a good price well worth it.
Worst beef patties I ever ate in my life! They charged me full price for 2 burnt beef patties. I usually go to the white plains location but today i happened to come across a cravin Jamaican in Ossining and said what the heck. Big mistake! White plains at least doesn't sale burnt beef patties. I broke off a piece to show you the inside. Its just a piece but i swear on my child the whole beef patty was like this and was super crunchy. Service: Take out
The quality of food has deteriorated significantly. Yesterday I bought chicken soup and skimmed off half of it in oil. The remainder tasted like river water. Had to throw it out. The vegetable patty had mostly corn kernels, instead of a mixture of vegetables. This place has lost its touch. Pains me to spend my hard earned money there. I'll pass on purchasing food there unless they step up their game. Food: 2
Ossining has mostly Spanish restaurants and we were lucky to come across this Carribean gem. Food is awesome and the place is nicely done. They have plenty of seating. Loved the goat curry with cabbage and white rice. Food was fresh and portions were generous. Loved the pickled cabbage and tender and flavorful meat. Sure to visit again. Service: Dine in

Just ordered here and the portion size is surprisingly good. Love that they give more meat than rice unlike other Jamaican restaurants I’ve been too. Got the jerk chicken and plantains and paid the $2 extra for cabbage, it was delicious chicken was tender and juicy tons of flavor. Wish chicken portion was bigger but hey you can’t be perfect. Meal type: Lunch
