After many years of supporting this place, I can no longer recommend anyone eat here. The food I picked up today wasn't fit for human consumption. The broccoli had mold on the stalks. These are steamed vegetables not char pan or grilled. All 3 salads werebrownish slimey old lettuce. Using expired produce? Glad we requested dressing on the side so we could see it. The mashedpotatoes were dry, bland seemed old.. not from today (possibly not even yesterday's). The fried chicken was terribly dry salty. I have visited this restaurant many times over the years and usually loved it, but I must say that my experiences today and on a few recent occasions have been quite disappointing. The waitress was attentive, but it seemed like the kitchen was having a rough day. I overheard the staff chatting in Spanish and it felt like they were more focused on that than on preparing the food. I ordered the country-fried steak and eggs, and to my surprise, it arrived as a burned piece of hamburger patty. I come here many times over the years and have loved it but i have to say today and a couple other times recently are some of the worst experience. The waitress was on point but the kitchen seems to be having a very off day they are in the back cussingin Spanish and chattering more than they care about the food. A diner restaurant that borderlines on a fine dining experience! Have stopped in a few times to get an idea of the the food here and have never been disappointed. Today I had the prime rib special which was simply amazing very flavourful and yeah it's playful and very generous portions. The wait staff was attentive without being overbearing and make sure everything was to my liking. I sat at the counter so that I could actually hear and see some of what was going on in the kitchen and it was very active professional and efficient. One of the three meals was a replacement for issues with a previous order, but I still paid for two. The manager had been friendly enough to offer a substitute meal last time, but sadly, the quality of the food has deteriorated. I really wanted to give this place another chance, but the food was simply inedible. It used to be our favorite dish on the menu. Is this restaurant on its last legs? It’s such a shame. The photos can not do a justice on how massive and incredible the plate of food is here! The portions of everything on the menu are catastrophic! Perfect for heavy eaters or if you want to share. Ingredients are substantially fresh and delicious! I am buta mere mortal who has never tasted such godly nectar! They also kept the cup of coffee full! The ingredients are incredibly fresh and delicious! I can't recall ever tasting something so divine! Plus, their coffee is always served to the brim! The military tribute adds a lovely patriotic touch. Eating here is a must!!!
NIE return would not recommend smells like cigarettes it is disgusting. Food was outraged and expensive 15 dollars for an egg and ham sandwich!! The bread was hard like a rock, you have to be a joke. It was so salty and I tell you, I don't complain that it's hard salty. Waitress wants you to take your bill out there before you finish eating how rude you can be!

Classic diner with old school vibe. Food is decent, but the portion is huge. Service could be better. Plenty of parking in the lot outside. Military discount only applies to the actual service member or vet, not the whole party.
Delicious food in big enough portions where to go containers are not a doubt. Popular business so it does get busy quick but service is quick.
