This creperie is tucked away in one of the small street leading down to the river from the principal street of the medieval city. Creperies are great places to eat in France especially for a fairly quick and enjoyable meal. There is the usual menu which includes savoury and sweet pancakes and ice creams. Good house wines - red and rose only. The savoury pancakes are named after historical characters; being English I couldn't face a Phillipe-Augustus but an Agnes Sorrel, tasty in more ways than one, proved excellent. We had a late lunch after visiting the fortress and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waitress was excellent. Fun and encouraging of our poor French. Would definitely recommend it. We tried both both the galettes and the gratin and couldn't fault either the quality or price of the meal
A warm welcome, however a catastrophic organization with a waiting of nearly 40 minutes to have 2 galettes, the customers left one after the other before even the dessert crêpe, just like us. And for my part the galette is very disappointing (soft and thick paste)
They do a fine job here, nothing fancy but that's not why you go to a creperie. The 14EUR formule is a great deal, especially for being at tourist ground zero, in the shadow of the castle and with great views of La Maison Rouge).

Super Omelette, nice service, good ice cream! On the other hand, you have to go back to form, too thick and too little salt for the cake in itself, it lacks salted butter!
A crêperie close to the castle where the cakes and pancakes are really very good, a very good welcome, thanks to you. We will come back when we pass to Chinon
Most important! The cakes are delicious!! And carefully prepared. Most! A very good atmosphere of service, communicating and funny I had a very good time!
Really lovely galettes! Great for family, putting up with our screaming toddler. Small and quaint, hidden in a really beautiful part of town.
