Restaurants on the slopes and mountain peaks can be drab affairs. Not this one (this is about the second floor restaurant with the Terrasse and great views, not the bistro downstairs). The food is excellent quality with a changing 'Plat du jour' every day. We went there for lunch on several subsequent days simply ordering the Plat du jour without even checking what it was. Service is also very good and efficient despite this being quite a big place. Highly recommended even if you are not skiing.
We ate here twice on our week ski holiday to Avoriaz area. Fantastic setting, literally above the clouds. Service was good and food was lovely although pricey as you would expect for a ski area in the Swiss Alps! Worth it for a treat. We had Salmon, Burgers, Chicken Salad, Goats cheese salad, mac and cheese, all great. Only complaint was the mac and cheese has bacon in it and my friend who ordered is a vegetarian and it never mentioned that on the menu.
The cafe staff are lazy and have no motivation in delivering basic customer service. It does baffle me why staff send food out knowing it’s not right. I ordered lasagne and chips. The lasagne arrived watery and cold in the middle. The chips arrived over...cooked. When questioned, the server looked blank. Over priced microwave food. This is the worst ever piste cafe.

We had an excellent mid summer type of party here '70 style. Food is straight forward and tasty. Staff is helpful. DJ at the the party was well chosen. Easy to get to next to cable car station.
Service professionnel et sympathique, jolie dressage des tables, belle proposition de plats. Pris le menu du jour, bon marché et succulent. Mon épouse le risotto aux chanterelles nickel !
Good pleace to havé à drink or a coffee before taking the cable car to Champery. For a nicer view and good local wine go to "Chez Coquoz" 1/4 of a mile downhill.
Je recommande ce restaurant très sympathique. La carte est très variée. La nourriture est bonne . Le personnel est très accueillant et le cadre est magnifique.

Budget un peu plus élevé, mais des plats de qualité et une vue imprenable de la terrasse sur les dents blanches... je vous conseil ce resto !
