A unique place I stayed in Cuisine et Sante’ for a week on a proposal of a friend. I had heard very well about this place and my expectations were fully met. The structure is similar to a country house with a large kitchen that, twice a day, is born in preparing the main meals. Guests are invited to cook to learn the basics of macrobiotics: good, healthy, seasonal fresh vegetables and cereals at will. The discovery of a new and healthy kitchen for me. The cook, Efrem Nicolau, is really professional, prepared and able to make each dish a concentrate of goodness, health and care for themselves and for others. Cuisine et Sante' I found myself here in the green of the Upper Garonna to know and experience macrobiotic cuisine. I found a place similar to a small village, with people of various nationalities linked together by curiosity and love for cuisine. Great professionalism and availability of the chef Efrem Nicolau that every day varies recipes following the estro, fantasy and passion for the macrobiotic. Make yourself comfortable that I will tell you my adventure at CUISINE ET SANTE ́. We start from the beginning... I suffer from joint pain and fibromyalgia connected to chronic fatigue from 'only' 29 years. I have 43. My friend Elena, recently known, tells me about this place on the Pyrenees where she stayed several times and where, she tells me, the food is macrobiotic, teach you to cook, live in the middle of nature and come home, after at least ten days of stay, reborn....
I spent ten days in Cuisine and Health in a peaceful place with a friendly team and I had pleasure in participating in the preparation of meals and tasting them with other guests speaking French, English and Spanish. It was a delight of the continual papillae!! Thank you all for everything!
