I always see this place when I go to Aumm Aumm for dinner. Today I was in the area during the day and tried it out. Got the chicken cutlet, prosciutto, fresh mozz and a lil bit of balsamic. They toasted it up and it was absolutely delicious. Bread was crunchy outside and soft and chewy in. Cutlet was extremely flavorful but not over salted. Prosciutto was soft and melted on the tongue Mozz was not separated and greasy after toasting. Tasted almost like buratta. Everyone working was great. Joking with each other, a real old school vibe. Def coming back.
I love this place. The staff and owner are amazing. I brought a friend of mine here recently and he said, this place feels like the personification of love put into food and atmosphere. It's so welcoming and feels like home. Taylor ham, egg white omelet with potatoes and fresh bread toasted with fresh olive oil. The owner also shared with us two recipes his grandmother used to make on special occasions. A fried anchovies, and fried cod fish fritters. Everything was amazing!! This is where you come for a taste of Italian greatness!

OMG!! I wish you were in my neighborhood. I had the Cheese Steak that was so so good. The bread was nice and soft. Peppers were perfect and the cheese fresh. This was a perfect sandwich. I ordered the Molfetta to go after the nice lady gave me a handful sample of Parmacotta Ham. The homemade Mozzarella was the best I've ever had. That was the best sandwich I've ever eaten. And I say that after it traveled from Jersey to Cali and was reheated in my oven 7 hours later
The sandwich was too expensive to have a mistake, as I requested grilled chicken but received chicken cutlet instead. The chicken tasted old and like it had been sitting in a pile before being put on my sandwich. I will give the restaurant another try, but I will definitely be checking the sandwich before leaving. I am giving it 5 stars because I was attended to quickly, but it seems like there may have been a misunderstanding with my order.
old school italian deli. I grew up with these places in union city. You can't find her now. but this place is fantastic, friendly, tasty all they need from an Italian deli. the owner was attentive and friendly. Afterbarschaft, she is missing. So this place takes me back. Thanks for never changing you.
In the area for business and found this place on yelp. Extensive menu with many hot and cold sandwich options. Small place with a few tables. My sandwich was excellent, turkey and mozzarella served hot in a delicious wrap. Store also has a good amount of Italian imported foods. Highly recommend.

As a true Italian, I must say that Antonio's mozzarella is the absolute best in town! The focaccias are so good the taste brings me back to my hometown in Italy....the biscotti? So good! Everything is delicious at Cuomo
