"We were craving Korean Fried Chicken so our friends suggested this place! We were super hungry so between the 4 of us we got 2 whole chickens & 2 bibimbap. The serving sizes here are pretty generous. Loved it all! The sauced chicken was delicious, but the plain chicken definitely wins! Soy sauce was nice and sweet & spicy was on the sweeter side too. Will definitely be back!"

•mukbang• my new discovery on YouTube but after watching one too many set me on the hunt for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken)! We decided to go to Dae Jang Kum on a friend's recommendation and it was pretty good overall :) Situated in Eastwood, during dinner peak hour parking can be a nightmare but Dae Jang Kum unlike most other restaurants in the area had its own upfront parking lot for customers only, so big thumbs up! Once you are inside it's a nice cost restaurant that is distinctively Korean. The food overall was pretty good with a few misses. My favourite was the chilli paste marinated crab that they gave us as part of the free starters (typical of Korean restaurant), it was fantastic....

Their fried chicken (soy flavour) is yummy! The spicy fried chicken was too saucy, sweet, and not spicy at all, I didn't enjoy it. We had the boneless fried chicken. Half for $17, only 5 pieces by the way. We also had the pork ribs kimchi hotpot $42. The hotpot was lacked of flavouring. Side dishes were alright - didn't know we could eat crab raw. We didn't touch the crab. Perhaps they should ask if customers would like the crab as it's a waste of food.
