It seems that every other customer waiting in line is a regular that the staff behind the counter knows personally. That's the customer service you want at your local donut shop, right? The fact that the donuts are made in smaller batches (not a huge range of peak hours, but there isn't a stale donut- even old-fashioneds are fresh) and are decently priced are just bonus points?
Found this donut shop last summer in 2021 and it's been our favorite ever since. Not only do they have some of the best donuts around but they offer great customer service very politely and make you feel welcome.
If you're looking to reduce your donut intake, try the donut holes instead. They have the same delicious flavor but in a smaller size, perfect for satisfying your craving.
