The cashier with the big curly hair (I didn’t catch his name since he wasn’t wearing a name tag) was so incompetent that it was almost amusing. There seems to be a fundamental disconnect in his ability to handle even the simplest tasks. Honestly, I think he’d be better off doing dishes, and his best option would be staying home. There were only three small groups in the restaurant, yet he struggled to remember who ordered what. He literally walked in circles around the place with a hotdog in his hand—it felt like a scene from a comedy movie. After that, I decided to wait for a friend, thinking I'd just have a Blizzard while I waited. However, the cashier told me they were closed, even though there were three other cars in line giving orders. One girl even said that they had closed the orders before us, which seemed unfair. It was frustrating to watch them serve other customers while I sat there feeling stuck, like the people behind us who were trying to get out.
Their hours say they close at 10 PM, so that should mean they stop taking orders at that time, not just abruptly close the window. All of this was really upsetting, and I have decided to take my business elsewhere.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I went through the drive-thru to place my order and was asked to park, which wasn’t an issue. However, when my order was finally brought out, it was completely wrong. The staff member who delivered my food mentioned that the order had been mixed up and needed to be made fresh. I ended up waiting for 15 minutes, only for the same employee to come back with cold food that had been sitting in the bag, handled by multiple people. It was not a great experience at all.
My husband went into the DQ on Veterens in Bloomington to get us some ice cream August 5th 2022 It was around 9:3pm.. The ice cream was made the way we wanted it but I did not appreciate the cashier flipping my husband off She decided to tell my husband f@ you! I really think something needs to be done!!!

The service was absolutely dreadful. It took 40 minutes for my order to arrive, and during that time, the staff were throwing food at each other and creating a mess right in front of me. To top it off, my order was completely incorrect, and the slushy had melted. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Just so everyone knows the kitchen closes at 9:45. Hours say different. Says they are open til 10. Best part they let you order your food then tell you that the kitchen is closed. Obviously they were ready to go home. What a shame… get better Dairy Queen or find some new management!!!!

I ordered ice cream from the drive thru and got the peanut buster parfait, it was all peanuts. Looked like they dumped the end of the jar with lots of extra skins on my dessert. I paid $5 and as soon as I opened it up, everything spilled out uncontrollably.
