Dan Thai Cuisine - Table reservation

We chose Dan Thai Cuisine for our New Year's Eve dinner and were very satisfied with our experience. The staff was extremely friendly, we got a table by the window, and we had a lovely and unhurried meal. We started with the chicken satay appetizer and tom yum soup, followed by generously sized duck entrees. For dessert, we enjoyed fried ice cream, one vanilla and one chocolate. All the dishes were delicious and flavorful. Being able to bring our own wine helped make the bill fair and reasonable. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

The food was okay, nothing extraordinary. The service was terrible. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night with only 6 or 7 tables and one waiter. I saw people getting up to refill their own water. We weren't greeted by a waiter until we had been sitting for over 10 minutes. There was no explanation of the menu. After dropping off our food, the waiter only came back to bring the check. There is no reason to return. Fortunately, it was a cheap night out.

eating was decent, nothing special. the service was terrible. completely dead on a Saturday evening: maybe 6 or 7 tables and a waiter). I saw people standing up and refilling their own water. we were not believed by waiters after we sit for more than 10 minutes. zero explanation of the menu. after throwing away from eating, cellners just go shaky. no reason to go back. fortunately, cheap nights!

The food at the restaurant was delicious, but we were disappointed to find that the online menu did not match the menu we ordered from. Many items we were looking forward to were not available, and the prices were also different than what we had seen online.
