Best Thai food in New Jersey! Dan and his wife are experts in the restaurant industry and ran a successful Thai restaurant in NYC off of Broadway for decades. Fortunately, they have brought their expertise to north Jersey. Dan uses fresh, quality ingredients and offers a wide selection of authentic Thai menu options. Some days if you are lucky, Dan may have cooked a special Thai soup, dessert, or meal that is difficult to find on a typical Thai menu in the United States. We love the whole experience of eating at Rice and Noodles Thai Cuisine and will continue to make this one of our top choices when we go out.
We chose Dan Thai Cuisine for our New Year's Eve dinner and were very satisfied with our experience. The staff was extremely friendly, we got a table by the window, and we had a lovely and unhurried meal. We started with the chicken satay appetizer and tom yum soup, followed by generously sized duck entrees. For dessert, we enjoyed fried ice cream, one vanilla and one chocolate. All the dishes were delicious and flavorful. Being able to bring our own wine helped make the bill fair and reasonable. We definitely plan on returning in the future.
The food was okay, nothing extraordinary. The service was terrible. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night with only 6 or 7 tables and one waiter. I saw people getting up to refill their own water. We weren't greeted by a waiter until we had been sitting for over 10 minutes. There was no explanation of the menu. After dropping off our food, the waiter only came back to bring the check. There is no reason to return. Fortunately, it was a cheap night out.
our choice for New Year's Dinner, dan thai cuisine certainly satisfied. we were greeted by an extraordinarily friendly staff, a table at the window, and enjoyed entertainment and a great meal without the haste. the chicken satay appetizer and tom yam soup in front of generously serving. baked egg desserts a vanilla, a chocolate cut in the night. all the food had great taste. promoted byob, the bill was more than fair and reasonable. we would go back.

I saw people standing up and refilling their own water. we were not believed by waiters after we sit for more than 10 minutes. zero explanation of the menu. after throwing away from eating, cellners just go shaky. no reason to go back. fortunately, cheap nights!
The food at the restaurant was delicious, but we were disappointed to find that the online menu did not match the menu we ordered from. Many items we were looking forward to were not available, and the prices were also different than what we had seen online.
