We arrived at 7 PM on a Sunday, and they seated us immediately at either the bar or outside. We chose to sit at the bar, and the menu was available via QR code. For our appetizer, we ordered the Dumplings in Chili Oil, which were excellent and had a nice kick from the chili oil! We shared the Dan Dan Noodles and the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The Dan Dan Noodles were spicy and had a delicious sesame sauce mixed in. The Beef Noodle Soup was also fantastic, with a flavorful broth. We would definitely return to try more items from the menu!
Cooked to perfection, we ate so many different dishes and appetizers. We got: -pork belly burgers -scallion pancakes -spring rolls -dandan vegetarisn noodles -Dandan beef noodles -spicy cucumbers Entrees: -twice cooked chicken -human tofu -garlic sauce chicken -beef with leeks -sweet and sour rib eye pot We will continue to come back here. Every thing was so authentic! We got wine, gin and tonics, Malbec margaritas!
The Lychee fried fish was incredible, and it came with the sauce packaged separately, allowing me to air fry it on the second day. The mapo tofu, Hakka pork with squid, pumpkin seafood tofu (which had an egg-drop soup consistency), and pork dumplings were all excellent too. This is the best takeout experience we've had in years!

Ordered the Dan Dan Noodles (4.5/5), cucumbers in chili (2/5), cumin chicken (1/5), and dumplings in oil (4.5/5). Everything was SO SPICY! Cucumbers were not crispy. Cumin chicken was just not good.
The mapo tofu was excellent, with just the right amount of spice and perfectly cooked. The soft tofu was delightful; it had a crispy texture with paprika and a lovely swirl. I enjoyed it a lot.
The pork dumplings in chili oil were amazing! The oil had a wonderful blend of spices, the dumplings had the perfect texture, and the portion size was generous.
My friend and I came across this restaurant after receiving a recommendation for The Happy Rooster. When we arrived there, however, we found no available seats.

I really enjoyed the Garlic Sauce Dish, but I found the rice to be of somewhat lower quality. I hope that Dan Dan can work on that.
One of the best eggplant dishes Ive had. Cold noodle dish is so good Im literally leaving some so I can eat again tomorrow.
