Food and drinks are good! Even though the owner told me my recommendations aren’t necessarily. I was there having a drink after the Anoka fair with some friends and someone that the owner was clearly friends with was trying to be aggressive and start fights, was doing hand signs like he was going to shoot us but two seconds later was playing darts with the owner. Maybe go there during the day but i did not feel safe at night there.
It really is everything a dive bar should be. My daughter spun a wheel and it landed on dannos (she wanted a burger for her birthday dinner) and MAN was it a damn good burger. The wings were phenomenal as well. Service you ask? Immaculate. Im pretty sure our servers name is Trevor. He was violently friendly but not OVERLY friendly. He's good as hell at his job, and from server to server I'd love to work with him!
I absolutely love this bar, but I'm a bit frustrated that the owner wasn't willing to listen to my perspective on my reaction. I sincerely apologize for my behavior and take full responsibility for it. However, I would still like the opportunity to discuss what happened last night, as it felt unfair to me. Despite this, my affection for this bar will always remain strong.
Delicious food and fantastic environment. We went there this past Wednesday and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. I ordered the breakfast melt, which was outstanding. The server, never caught his name, was very engaging and so full of energy. Would definitely recommend to anyone asking and would go back. Book a table now
This place has hamburgers for $3 on Tuesdays and we like coming here then walking around the quaint Anoka (the city claims to be the Halloween capital of the world). It's a nice outing without spending so much money. Don't forget to tip generously since the food is inexpensive and the service is good friendly.
The burgers where ok, but, I went in on Tuesday for the $3 burgers and let me tell you everything other then the burger patty and the bun is extra and if you try to take anything to go they say sorry it’s dine in only so either go in hungry or don’t go at all. I definitely won’t be going back
My favorite place for burgers and fries in Anoka! The seating area is quite small, so it's not ideal for large groups. However, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The quality here surpasses that of many fast food chains.
Girlfriend was groped by a customer, the bar owner danno and security did nothing about it because quote “well he’s not doing it anymore” Will not be returning, plenty of great bars just across the street. Book a table now
I had the best burgers and fries at an incredible price! I'm so glad I decided to come for lunch. They also offer daily specials, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!
