We stopped in on our way through on a day trip and we were happy to find a local joint to support. Dan's food is made fresh and hot it was delicious and the staff was kind. We didn't try the shakes, but someone ahead of us did and they looked delicious too. The place looked recently remodeled and was very clean, even the bathroom.
We stopped here for lunch and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Fries and onion rings were to die for. I had the Trail Burger and my bride had the double cheeseburger. All were fresh made and just that old 50s style hamburger joint. highly recommend.
I ordered a Rodeo bacon cheese burger and fries. Everything was hot and fresh. The fries were crispy the bun was fresh and the meat tasted better than the 5 Guys burger I had the night before. I can't wait to go back.
An Oreo milkshake is all I got, but it was good. It wasn't like those liquid ones that are gross, this was thick creamy and cold. Go ahead and try one! They are the best thing you can get in Montpelier Idaho.
