This chef can really cook. Absolutely everything we ate was delicious. I had no intention of eating another pudding I’d eaten too many during a week of eating out but I couldn’t resist. And it too proved to be just as good as the rest. It’s a great restaurant when the vegetables are as much a talking point as the meat or fish. We didn’t try the galettes but if they are as tasty as the dishes on the a la carte menu they will be very good indeed. We will be back to find out.
We had a wonderful evening meal here a few days ago. The menu is really innovative, with several speciality artichoke dishes. The one I had included Asian spices, coconut milk, and crevettes in an artichoke the size of a football. The young chef had won competitions and as we left we were told they had just picked up their first Gault -Millau award. Can't wait to go back.
Terrific food, different, wonderful attention to detail and an interesting menu. Service was friendly and humorous, adding to the atmosphere. All the starters were delicious and I was delighted to be able to have an in season artichoke with a choice of fillings. This restaurant would encourage a second visit to the town.
Extremely welcoming staff during Covid period. Great menu, warm, friendly staff and attention by owner. Prices extremely reasonable for good quality food and organic produce. Highly recommend.
