La Galletiere - Table reservation

Called in here for a light lunch en route to the ferry on a Sunday. The sausage and onion galette was very tasty and we washed it down with house red and finished with a coffee. The young lady at the front of the house was constantly on the go and very friendly and helpful but the food orders appeared to be very slow coming from the kitchen. We were in no hurry and hence did not care It fitted what we wanted and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The ingredients are good, but mind you the portions are small and the gallette is very thin and crispy, which is great for some people, but not those looking for the genuine gallette. We had much better experiences elsewhere. We had main and desert, and both still felt pretty hungry after leaving. Aside from that, the staff is very friendly and the space is nice and cosy.

Sat outside on a warm afternoon for lunch, nice waitress served us fast and we were surprised by the variety of crepes but also fantastic fish soup and salads. Just off the beaten path tucked away but worth a stop-over.

This is a very pretty place with great simple food. If you like crepes, gullets and cider this is the place to go. Simple and inexpensive menu. We will go again.

Right price for good Ford. Good Service and well done crêpes... not the best I ever taste but good!!
