Sought this one out on the strength of the reviews here, and it was well worthwhile. Monday lunchtime it 's not always easy to find somewhere, we didn 't book, it was quite busy and we came in with our dog. They were a bit hesitant, not because they minded but because they didn 't want her to get trodden on the tables are quite closely spaced, it 's a fairly small place. But then a lovely couple who 'd just got settled with their drinks in a place with a dog safe corner offered to change to another table so we could be more comfortable, which was SO kind and a really good start, and the owner/chef and waitress quickly sorted it out. My wife and I had lunch here. We last visited this restaurant 6 years ago but remembered it well. Its only 10 mins from Roscoff and car parking (free) is very near. A younger change of crew looked after us from start to finish and even showed me a diagram of the meat cut we had chosen for lunch as I did not recognize the French name (turns out it was beef flank) steak We had three 3 course s.I started with Mushroom velouté and wife had a salad both excellent. Main course was the beef flank “minute” steak served with “real chips;” dessert an excellent chocolate brownie with banana ice-cream. Surprise surprise!!! Service with a smile and a chef who knows his business. We had an excellent meal here. Not fancy, or poncy. If want to experience an expensive Michelin star experience then go down the road. The food was tasty, prepared and cooked perfectly, seasoned to perfection and served with a smile. What more could you want with a 3 course meal for 26 euros. Great food with a friendly atmosphere and a very very good experienced young chef/owner who really knows hows to cook. A rare experience these days, believe me. Can’t wait to go back.
For me is the worst I eaten in the last 2 years in Bretagne. The plates look bad but the taste is even worse.No professional service but the worse is the cooking and you can see directly I won’t come back. Bad. Definitely no return
