This traditional Italian deli, located at the corner of Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square, was a favorite of mine for a long time. I recently returned, craving a fresh ham and mozzarella sandwich, reminiscing about their homemade mozzarella and the generous portions of ham they used to serve. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. It seems they've switched to using pre-sliced mozzarella from Restaurant Depot, and my sandwich barely had any ham. For $10, I expected a lot more. Honestly, I’d prefer they stick to their original recipe and charge me a little extra for it. After this experience, I think I'll just head over to Valley Caterers in the future.
This place is the best. From customer service to the amazing array of delicious foods, nobody comes close. Every order big or small is made to perfection and the presentation is just as good as the quality of food. If you want to be appreciated as a customer and get what you pay for and so much more, this is the place for you!! They are masters of their craft!
I would give Da Vinci 10 stars if I could. We celebrated my daughter's birthday party there today and the food was amazing! Everyone loved how delicious it was and how beautifully it was presented. I was extremely pleased with our order and will definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you.
Davinci Gourmet Market is a great addition to the neighborhood. Consistently delicious, great quality and service! Most everything I've tried up until now have been very good. Service was very good and every one working here was really nice and helpful. I'm glad these guys are here.

This place has delicious Italian treats galore. It's a combination of a butcher shop, deli, bakery, and store with imported items all in one spot. You'll discover things here that you never thought you could find. Absolutely fantastic!
