Overall average experience at the restaurant which is disappointing considering the price level. Food was a 4/5 but service was average at 3 and atmosphere/ambiance was poor at 1. Food presentation was a 5. Foie gras and cheese plate were average which is surprising for the region. Risotto with a supplement was not worth the extra money. Scallops, goose breast and chocolate dessert were great. Service was average mostly because the waiter and waitress would drop and run. A beautiful Chateau in a stunning location in the Dordogne valley. We stayed for two nights, on both mornings we woke to the low lying mist in the valley. The bonus was to watch hot air balloons sail past our bedroom window on the morning we left. We dined in the restaurant one evening which was a delight, the food and wine were fabulous. All of the staff are friendly and very welcoming. We loved it
Very nice nights spent in the castle. The welcome from the staff is perfect, the self-service breakfast well provided. Particularly appreciable is the presence of a swimming pool for families and a second quiet swimming pool reserved for adults. The location next to Sarlat is ideal for visiting the region.
Beautiful castle with great rooms and spectacular surroundings... you are like in a story. The breakfast is very good and with unbeatable views. Good location to see the surroundings. The people at the reception are magnificent. A ten to all. Thank you for being here
