My husband and I ditched our favourite Thai restaurant over kachori cravings. DOD came top on our google search, and seeing Khasta Kachori on the menu, we were thrilled! The most amazing Indian food and 10/10 service! We had the samosas, lamb kebab, butter chicken, lamb bhuna, accompanied by garlic naan and saffron rice and honestly everything was sensational. So packed full of flavour and also very good portion sizes not too big but not too small! We weren’t going to have dessert but then everything else was so good we had to try the desserts too. We got the gulab jamun and the coconut and jaggery kulfi both were amazing and the perfect way to finish the meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. This fantastic little restaurant is hidden in the heart of Newtown, just off the bustling main street. The food is beautifully presented and tastes authentic. Although the menu is completely halal, they do offer alcohol from the bar. The seating area is cozy and the staff are friendly and attentive. It was a pleasure chatting with the owner. While there may be a bit of a wait for your food to arrive, it is definitely worth it as everything is fresh and delicious. Don't miss out on this must-try gem in Newtown.
I have lived in the area for just over 2 years now and only just got the chance to dine at Delhi ‘O’ Delhi this evening. This was honestly the tastiest food I’ve had in a while! Each dish we ordered had so much flavour and the portions were extremely generous. All of the wait staff were so friendly and the service was really efficient. I can’t wait to come back already. Will recommend this places to anyone and everyone!

The food was top-notch, as always. This was our 2nd time here at this restaurant. The chef knows what he is doing as he keeps changing the menu, which is a good thing to keep things new for the customer. The manager at this place is a very nice guy. We had a good chat with him. Every business deserves a man like him to be working. We will visit again.
I finally had the opportunity to visit this charming restaurant. Overall, the food was quite enjoyable and the service was also good. My favorite dish was the combination entrees, especially the delicious lamb and amazing grilled chicken. The prawns were tasty as well. However, the camel curry was a bit dry and too chewy.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for delicious Indian cuisine. The service was excellent and the food was some of the best Indian I've ever had in Sydney. I highly recommend making a reservation as this place is consistently busy. Be sure to sample the prawns - they're a must-try.
