I was excited to try Denino's, a popular pizza place from Staten Island, in New Jersey. Unfortunately, the pizzas I received on Labor Day were not up to par. The top was overcooked, with a crust forming on the cheese. The bottom had an excess of semolina flour from the oven deck, which could be flaked off with your hand. It was a disappointing experience compared to the pictures from other reviewers. It seemed like they had inexperienced cooks working on the holiday.
Everything you could want from a local Italian restaurant. Great pizza, great bread (always a stickler for quality breads), available dishes are portioned well and all taste fantastic! Parking is always tight but that's the nature of the jersey shore. Thelis is where to go for some good any time of the year. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
