Came here on a long weekend for breakfast. Yes it was busy, but the service was awful. Got sat a dirty table. Had to flag someone down to wash the seat which had syrup on it. Our salt/pepper/sugar were empty and never got filled through the time of our visit. We waited at least an hour for our food- thank goodness it was really tasty! But they never gave us syrup for our pancakes. Again, we had to chase a 3rd person down to get some for us. One of the head servers was feeling bad and brought us some fruit since we waited so long- I appreciated that but really I think we deserved a discount. And realized after they charged us for the upgraded bacon, but we never even got it. Just one of those...
I have reviewed Denny's before, but not this one in Prince George, BC. We have visited this restaurant before and will always go back. The service was great and the food was also great. My hubby tried the slamburger. Oh man that one is huge! If you are hungry and want breakfast between a bun, this burger is for you! I always order my traditional loaded veggie omelet with a side of dry toast. Once again, my toast did not come dry, but I could easily swipe off the butter. My kids had the chocolate chip pancakes again and loved them as usual. Good food, good service. Smaller amount of parking though, however there is also street parking for if you have a trailer.
We waited for over an hour for our food. When we finally got it the food was cold. The server was polite but was clearly way too busy. Coffee was never refilled. Another server came by to take over and accidentally spat all over my food when she was leaned in closely talking to us, which was extremely unappetizing. It was honestly a terrible experience. This Denny's seems very poorly managed, and most of the staff seem like they were barely trained. We will not be returning because this is not the first experience like this.
I only went here because my husband wanted pancakes! I had orange juice, bacon, eggs (over easy) and multigrain toast. The orange juice was certainly not freshly squeezed, the bacon was tepid and greasy and the eggs were raw in the centre. They brought me other eggs but I had finished my bacon by the time they arrived. The toast was good, as was service from the pleasant waiting staff. Deluvery if food was slow. We waited at least half an hour from ordering our food until it arrived. Book a table now
We came here for dinner and breakfast as we stayed in one of the hotels next door. Food was great and staff friendly but since it was busy both times, service was slow.I find the kids menus expensive compared to some other restaurants we've been to.
The food was good. But at 4.30am on a morning it had a lot of loud mouth idiots in there. I felt sorry for the waitress as these people were rude and just moronic. The pancakes were amazing, very soft and fluffy.
we were seated immediately, we ordered and meal took over 45 minutes to get to the table , not the wait staff fault have to blame on management. BC Day Probably the cause
