Treats for all tastes. Sweet? Check. Savoury? Check. This place may sell itself as a dessert heaven, but it could definitely swing both ways. Burgers, spaghetti, calamari chips (lovely crisp) all regarded with satisfaction there was even room for dessert! The self-serve frozen yoghurt is popular (particularly the nutella flavour; I do not recommend plain with the range of toppings having vastly improved since my first visit (admittedly some of them are still a bit chunky). Disappointing. After being launched with such fanfare I found this place quite disappointing. Yoghurt was icey, not creamy, the add ons lacked in diversity, with giant pieces of TimTam or Honeycombe that you have pull out and eat with your hands anyway! If you want frozen yoghurt hit up YoghurtLand in Belco. Cakes were running out as we were there late on a Saturday night. My friends cake was simply ok'. I think for a dessert place could do much better, maybe Koko Black or Dolce e Salato is a better bet. Won't be going back.
Have been there for a couple of lunches - their burgers are OK but I'd steer clear of the fish and chips. Where Dessert Castle stands up for itself is though, is the flavours of their frozen yoghurt. The nutella, salted caramel, green tea and taro flavours beats anywhere else in Canberra (and on par with most Sydney places).

It's a nice and quiet place if you feel like a drink or dessert. The crêpes are surprising quite nice..of course don't expect the thin French style crêpes, but the crêpes taste quite good. Large variety of cakes and drinks to choose from plus frozen yogurt if you feel like it :)

After all the razzle dazzle and hype, we were disappointed by the atmosphere, selection and quality of desserts on offer. Almost all were of a rich chocolate mousse variety... Sadly the mousse were dense and overly rich, not light and airy. The chocolates were over-chilled, so the textures in the few we sampled were lost in fudgy chewiness.

A very sombre atmosphere. Flavours of the frozen yogurt is average, with coffee green tea combination is the worst. Slightly overpriced for what it is worth. Nevertheless a good place to hang out after dinner
desserts burg fondues are so good! I was there today as it was, melin in mouth good! if u guys ever go there get a fondue coz they r amazin the rest of the tasty are also good) nikita. h
