When we arrived 15 minutes early, we were greeted promptly and the hostess looked at her sheet, crossed off our name and asked to follow her to our table. We have been loyal clients of Devlins for over 20 years. The food, the service, the ambience - all top notch. Tonight, we ordered one of our favourites - smoked chicken penne pasta. We discovered the chicken was not smoked at all, giving the dish a very different taste. Still good, but not what we ordered. The server was unaware until she inquired in the kitchen - the smoker has been broken for several months.Mr Devlin, please be honest with your clients. My wife and I found this restaurant on a Sunday drive and made a point to research and make reservations - which we did last Sat night. It was GREAT - I had the Prime Rib -- to perfection and my wife the Feta Stuffed Chicken Breast - again well done. We were seated at a comfortable table with a street view, served right away with the wait staff being very attentive through out our meal. Overall great experience - great food, good sized portions - a bit pricey. the only recommendation would be to have air conditioning as it was 30 the evening we were there.

Took my mom here for a belated Mothers Day dinner. She had the salmon with garlic mashed and grilled veggies...delicious! I had the duck confit with truffle fries and grilled veggies. The duck was good but not great, everything else was very tasty. We shared the chocolate lava (like a soufflé)...I would add a bit more raspberry purée but definitely highly recommend! Very nice atmosphere and good service.
You have to try this place! It is truly the best restaurant outside of Toronto, located in a surprising location. My company often hosts evening dinners here because of the exceptional level of service and the amazing food. There is a dish for everyone and everything is executed perfectly. I cannot praise this place enough. I will definitely have them cater an event in the future.
Caesar salad and tomato, pistachio, smoked Gouda salads, prime rib and mixed grill ( lobster, shrimp and Italian sausage,) both with garlic mashed and grilled veggies. Prime Rib dinner could have been hotter. Mango cheesecake and chocolate cake, both good.
The menu is interesting, the wine list is reasonably priced, and the service may be a bit slow. The food is good, though not outstanding, but it is still the best I have found in the Brantford area.

Very nice bisto Upscale dinning had trout which prepared very well. Atmosphere was quaint and comfortable in an order building.
