Ordered a number of times, The chicken wings are good but not great, they don’t coat in anything so they don’t stay crisp but still enjoyable. The chicken fingers were pretty good for gf. French fries seem to always be undercooked and soggy especially in poutine, we’ve stopped ordering them. The deep fried pickles a pretty thin so I find they get a little over cooked in places but I continue to order them lol overall I’d recommend these items as safe and a good greasy meal when I’m too lazy to cook. Never had a reaction to these items.
I arrived at the restaurant at 12:30 PM and was first in line, but despite having three staff members working, nobody took my order. One of the staff was busy on the phone while I stood there waiting. I was really looking forward to getting a buffalo wrap and poutine, as the food is quite good. Unfortunately, I ended up going to Subway instead. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 3.
This restaurant offers a dedicated fryer for gluten-free items, allowing them to prepare gluten-free chicken fingers, fish and chips, poutines, and hamburgers on gluten-free buns. The food is delicious! However, it is not recommended to visit during lunch hour due to the high volume of students from the nearby high school. Additionally, the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Overall, it is an amazing option for takeout.
Our first visit today will not be our last. I saw recommendation in one of my Facebook groups for gluten free (GF). Worth the drive from Hamilton. My husband and I shared the deep fried pickles, Big Mac poutine and the Cracklin' poutine. All were amazing. They have so many GF options – can’t wait to come back and try them all!
