I have been to this establishment twice. Most recently for a birthday celebration The parking lot is a poorly lit awkward space on the side of the establishment. The few spaces in the very front were occupied each time I visited. I went to the bar that was NOT very busy) and getting the attention of one of the two bartenders was a chore. Trying to order food seemed to exacerbate the situation. Some stuff on the menu/website was not available, so I just ordered fries and a coke simple enough). My husband and I took the initiative to try something different and decided Dimples Restaurant to be our choice of interest to dine in due to it being my Birthday. The hours of business states 6pm-12am. We arrived to Dimples this past Sunday at 9pm and noticed that the Restaurant itself was closed!! When I walked in, I saw two gentlemen playing pool, and I greeted them, but only one responded. There were several empty tables near the pool table, and the bar area was also vacant. I approached the bar, where a young woman was behind the counter, seemingly occupied with her phone—either texting or scrolling. I didn't mind waiting for her to finish, thinking she would eventually acknowledge me.
However, when she turned around, I expected a greeting. Instead, she completely ignored me, stayed on her phone, and walked away without making eye contact or saying anything. Atmosphere was good. Had Cat fish nuggets abd sweet potato fries. The food was. Fried hard and greasy. Should have asked fried or broiled. I couldn't enjoy my meal. Advertised a DJ for Happy Hour from 6pm to 10pm and 10pm to 2 pm. Not! The waitress/barmaid didn't know and brought food before set up. The owner came in and was asked. He responded No with his hands out to his sides. No apology. I will go back to see if any changes. I was so hoping for a new spot to hang.
The environment was very welcoming and the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I can?t wait to go back! (Trust me and get the cheesteak egg rolls or the crab fries or BOTH! . The bartender did a great job with the drinks as well. They weren?t too strong and went so well with the meal. Please go support their business, you won?t regret it! :
Nice atmosphere, the bar tenders were friendly and the music was good. Definitely will go again. I didn’t get a chance to try the menu, maybe next time.Parking: Found a learning spot easily. The only concern I would see is possibly getting blocked in if it gets to crowded.
My fiancé and I always come here when we want to relax and unwind. The drinks and food are excellent. The DJs usually do an amazing job, so it's definitely a place you should check out. Be sure to ask for Candy to make your drinks; she’ll really take care of you!
