This is my second time coming to brunch at the Bellaire location with my girlfriends. We used to frequent the Heights location, but parking is always touch and go there. The Bellaire location has plenty of parking and the dining room seems larger. It may not actually be larger, but it feels that way.When my girlfriends and I walked in, there was a line, but it moved quickly. The cashier was friendly and you pay at the counter.I ordered brisket and eggs which also came with Gouda cheese grits and a biscuit. The biscuit is an up charge. I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable

This is a great place for a quick bite to eat. The hot chicken sandwich should come with a Warning label in a good way, I thought I was a tough guy when it came to spicy food; The spice and crunch were superb. The manager was warm and welcoming, we wanted Brunch for my Fiancee's Birthday during the week and they did not disappoint. Definitely give them a try.

they love this new position in bellaire so much more than the small narrow space of the galeere! the open concept and the outside terrace are big sellers to bring more of a quantity here for brunch! benignets were too good.
great food, good service. the beignets were great. they served the chic in a beautiful little cast iron. the portions were generous.
