The food is tasty, and the portion sizes are generous, making it very authentic. However, it’s clear that some shortcuts were taken with the freshness of the ingredients. In dishes with a lot of sauce, they overload it to mask the fact that some vegetables are past their prime. The corners of the onions were black, and the red peppers were slimy. The kimchi and pickled radishes lacked crunch and seemed too old. I'm disappointed. In trying to save a few dollars, you’ve lost a customer.
This restaurant was quite disappointing. The wait time was excessively long, and the quality of the food seemed inconsistent, likely because it was prepared in a hurry. The service was also lacking; there were often no staff available to assist. I wouldn't recommend this place, as there are far better restaurants with better prices and more seating. It's quite cramped here. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
I enjoy visiting this place for the kimbap and typically order takeout for lunch. I would normally rate it a 4-star but today I got a takeout order that included fried wings and a boneless chicken set, and the chicken came without any sauce! Korean fried chicken really doesn't hit the same without the sauces, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, I’d rate the food 3 out of 5.
This is my favorite Korean restaurant in the area. There are many fantastic choices, but Doma has a truly homemade and welcoming atmosphere. Everything I’ve tasted has been delightful, and the D1 Donkatsu meal set is both generous and delicious! I also really appreciate the variety of tasty side dishes. Thank you! Book a table now
I might have visited at an off time, but the hot chicken bibimbap was the worst Korean dish I've had among the 50+ Korean restaurants I've tried. The eggplant, bean sprouts, and chicken were all undercooked. The ramen jajangmyeon was just okay.
This is a pretty good Korean restaurant in Sunnyside. The prices are reasonable compared to other Korean places in Queens, but the space is quite small, and the food is just average. It's nothing to get overly excited about.
The kimbap here comes highly recommended. I’ve had this combo numerous times, and it has always been fresh and delicious. The soup is a great addition as well! It’s a fantastic spot for home-style Korean cuisine!
I ordered the spicy rice cakes, bulgogi kimbap, and kalbi for takeout. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was definitely the kimbap. I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes. Food: 5/5 Book a table now
