We chose the cafe because it has an upstairs area & great views over the water. Its lovely to watch the sunset. Its BYO which is surprising. Order food & drinks downstairs & staff bring it to the table. Great as we could pay for our own food & not worry about bill splitting. There is a massive menu choice. Caters for vegetarians too. We had share platter, veggie breakfast (for dinner) & fish n chips. Also coffee & dessert. Its very reasonably priced. Good wheelchair access as it has a lift -just had to ensure chairs were pushed in. Its a relaxed & comfy cafe. Would definitely come here again.
My sister-in-law & I sat upstairs and had a lovely view in spite of the rain. There was a variety of food to choose from and vegetarians are well catered for.. As this area is still being developed it wasn't overly busy but I can see it becoming very busy in the future and a lack of parking spaces may make it difficult to visit. I had steak sandwich, it was nicely presented and was very tasty, my hot chocolate was very nice and my s-i-l enjoyed her salad too. We were too full for dessert but they do look very nice.
This is beautiful spot to get together with my girlfriends.The coffee is good and there is something to drink fir everyone.The cake selection is good too.This is the spot we tend to come every month after dinner for a chat and laugh.The staff are always warm and welcoming.Sometimes it can be quite slow to get your drinks but as we are there for a catch up this doesn't worry us.It can be a bit echoey but it is a nice casual place that is comfortable .
I get so bored with Dome, the food changes with the season but it the same year in and out.There is no gluten free meals only cakes and they only have Soy milk as a substitute no lactose free or almond milk.So I just avoid Done now , there is starting to be more cafes around my area that offer GF meals and LF and Almond milk so why would I bother.

An amazing spot for Breakfast or Lunch is a lovely restaurant. Having experienced different food on many occasions there has been nothing outstanding, although the prices suggest there might have been. However, you cant beat this spot for a coffee and cake with your visitors.
A beautiful location looking out over the Marina. Sometimes service can be rather slow especially if it is a busy time and if upstairs sometimes the food is a bit chilly before one gets to eat it. However the location makes up for it!
4 stars for the location, great views overlooking the water, especially from the upstairs. Everything is typical Dome, which is fine. My friend loves the coffee, but if you don't like it luke warm be sure to ask for it HOT!
Service was perfunctory, cakes were good, coffee not hot. For the prices charges, Dome can do better. The atmosphere was good and the view terrific. Gave them two goes, wouldn't recommend.

Delicious food, average service, average prices. Great location next to the beautiful marina, ruined by the multi story buildings just next and opposite the restaurant. What a shame.
The place is clean and quite modern compare to your normal DomeAffordable tasty food with a nice viewclose to the beachmy kid love it.
