Finally, a Legit Thai Square in Florida that will give me nothing but incredible Thai food. When I moved under the highway to the Strip-Mall, I had a good feeling. Between the loving energy of the woman on the front, I am sure that she is the owner, to the spicy, spicy, funky flavors I love about Thai food, this place is absolutely the real thing. Sit, drink a beer and watch the rain pour out while eating a large bowl of homemade soup. I've got the pork tom medium spicy. It wasn't a midwives that sweated me between my eyes, but I was good with the spices. Very balanced, very tasty.
Close your eyes, take a bite, and instantly you'll feel as though you are on the streets of Bangkok. I have not found any restaurant in the US that is completely authentic, until I experienced Doral Thai. I almost cried when I tried their som tam. If you have never been to Thailand and want to try food that is really Thai, and not Americanized, this is the place. I cannot stop talking about this place.
My wife and I just dropped in out of the blue. I had been craving tiger tear salad and a shrimp fried rice all day and we didn't really want to drive to our favorite Thai place, well put it this way my wife had a taste of the beef salad and turned it away, then we ordered the shrimp fried rice and in two minutes they brought it out, it was ok but had very little taste to eat, never again.
This place is in a strip mall. It is very clean, looks very nice and newly decorated on the inside, and is a little on the small side as there is not alot of seating. The food was reasonably priced, and the portions were great. Nice people there as well. I travel much of the time, and I have tried Thai places all over the country. Doral Thai ranks high on my list for taste and quality.

I love the lunch special that comes with the soup of the day and a delicious crispy spring roll. But what I really am here is to get her curry chicken dish with white rice. The service was always top notch and you get an authentic Tai food.
If you're looking for a nice, quiet and warm atmosphere to dine, this Thai restaurant is the perfect place for you! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The food was great and the service was wonderful. Definitely would go again!
Very good food, very reasonable with generous portions. A friendly, unpretentious mom pop place run by a Thai couple that you can just relax in and have a great meal. Glad we found it.
