I ordered carry out through grub hub and arrived to pick it up right when my confirmation said it would be ready. The woman working said their system wasn’t working, and therefore the order hadn’t been started yet and I needed to wait 30 minutes. Super weird vibes inside, it looked like it was under construction and like it shouldn’t be open to the public. Reeked of cigarette smoke and there was drywall dust everywhere. Random ladders laying around, etc. The food we ordered was not good. My goat biryami was the toughest meat I’ve ever tried to eat, and the rice was wildly over spiced with cloves. Literally could only taste the cloves. My boyfriends chicken tandoori was dry and completely fla...

I called and asked, do u have Dum biryani or make ready to order biryani... He replied we only make Dum Biryani... and the biryani what he served is, In a plate some yellow rice with peas n black potato and with black pepper spice. Ordered Idly 3 dry idly in a plate with two semi solid liquids(chutney) No salt at all.. might be a couple days old or may b more... I could taste and smell spoiled. Masala dosa and onion chilli dosa again they look dry and some what tasty... chutneys again no salt at all... I couldn't eat or feel any taste of it. Sambar is below ok, no salt, no taste, I would call sambar in water or lot of water. Service is not bad, right on time as requested. Bathroom is worse,...

We originally came to try the dosa, but ended up trying a few other dishes as well, including the dosa with channa chili and uttapam with onions and chili. I chose the paneer Tikka with gravy and my husband had the lamb korma. We both ordered chai masala. Our total bill came to $57 before tip. The flavors were so amazing that we made sure to savor every last bit with our breads. Service may be a bit slow, but we were given a small bowl of soup while we waited for our food, which was a nice touch. Despite the casual servingware, the restaurant excelled in the most important aspect - the food. Don't let the appearance deter you, as DBH makes up for it with their delicious dishes.

I never would have thought that I could find better Indian food in Raleigh, North Carolina than in New York, but it's true. I expect Indian food to be bold and flavorful, with amazing spice combinations that really pack a punch. However, the food at this restaurant was quite disappointing - bland and lacking in excitement. The naan was doughy and lacked flavor, the bhel poori was soggy and oddly sweet, and the Murgh saag only tasted of salt. The only saving grace was the sweet and friendly service, which is why I gave this restaurant 2 stars instead of zero. Book a table now

If you love having overpriced, small quantity, super spicy, unauthentic Indian food plus sub-par service as the cherry on top, then this would be the place to go. This was my first and would be my last time here. Lesson learned, never will be making this mistake again. A 0 rating (if that was possible) would be a higher compliment here. There are plenty of far better choices for authentic Indian cuisine nearby. Do yourself, guests or family a favor and just avoid this place.

AFTER 1 YEAR I ordered food from this place this restaurant may be will be different this time the resturent doent NOT MAKE ANY FRESH FOOD ONLY REHEATING PREMADE SAMOSAS, Which is sold in Indian stores. All of the food I ordered was taste less . Kebabs have no taste . Will NEVER AGAIN GO BACK . WHAT A CHEAT and Scam. Horrible food . The lady starts yelling when I told her how bad was the food and was not fresh.

Treated myself to some cholle bhature and chicken biryani from the store today after spending about a month in New York. Finally, I got a real taste of authentic Indian spices and flavors. Both dishes were absolutely mouthwatering. I also appreciated the fact that the restaurant wasn't too crowded, and the staff was exceptionally polite and courteous.

This was the worst Indian food experience in New Jersey. We ordered chole bhature and dosa, but both dishes were stale and flavorless. The dosa even had a hair in it and had to be replaced. I would not recommend going to this restaurant. Book a table now

Wonderful staff, but was not expecting them to serve what appeared to be frozen food. Recommend avoiding this restaurant if you're looking for something vegetarian.
