Dosa Hutt Restaurant is a South Indian gem located in Flushing, NY. The restaurant is a favorite of my aunt's, and she recently brought me there to try it out. I was not disappointed! Dosa Hutt offers a wide variety of South Indian home-cooked like dishes. I ordered the Potato Dosa, which was absolutely delicious. The dosa was crispy and light, and the potato filling was flavorful and perfectly spiced. I also tried the Pondicherry Masala, which was a chickpea-based curry. I came in with my family and ordered 3 types of dosas, the Pandicherry, Plain Masala, and Spinach and Cheese. The Pandicherry and Plain Masala dosas were good, no issues, but the Spinach and Cheese Dosa was terrible. It was too salty, especially the dosa itself. I go up to the worker and asked for it to be remade, instead they offered me a plain dosa. When I took a piece of the plain dosa, there was oil all over my hand and this dosa was even saltier. It was uneatable and the cheese smelt like it was expired, and to add on the health grade certificate is on the side of the building rather than the front and is graded a B. Just tried Dosa Hutt (and Dosa 's in general for that matter)for the first time last night and really enjoyed it. The masala dosa is pretty spicy as is, so unless you like super-spicy I wouldn 't go the next step up to the mysore masala dosa, which actually says spicy on the menu. The coconut chutney and sambar sauce that comes with it are delicious, the staff was friendly and the prices seem reasonable.
This is my favorite spot for South Indian cuisine. The idli is so soft it practically melts in your mouth, and it’s always fresh. The dosas are prepared just the way I like them. The staff is incredibly polite and kind—never rude at all! My only downside is that they don’t offer delivery, which makes it challenging for me to visit as often as I’d like. Other than that, I am a very satisfied customer.

Wonderful little food joint with delicious vegetarian Indian dosas and desserts. I got the Mysore Masala Dosa and it was delicious the shell was crispy, and the sides were delicious (my favorite was the chutney, which had delicious coconut in it)
I wish I can give this place minus 1000 stars for very rude customer service. Argues and fights with customers on every order, shows hostile and insensitive attitude. Please stay away and don’t ruin your day here.
Absolutely the best South Indian food in NYC! The dosas, sambhar, chutney, and wada were all incredible. The prices are unbeatable too! I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the staff were really friendly.
Excellent vegetarian choices and affordable prices. The interior decor has a fast-food vibe. Their lassi is tasty and refreshing. Parking can be a bit challenging, but it's manageable.

you eat is pretty good and cheap! the food can be seasoned quite strongly if that is too much for them as if they might let them know when they order.
The prices are too high for a self-service experience. The food doesn’t taste the same as it did in the '80s or '90s.
