Despite a booking for 11am we couldn’t be seated for another half hour so we went next door the the Bridge Hotel Cafe and had a great timeZ Eventually we got our table and the place then filled up quickly. Lovely to see the boats and water. Nice vibe to a restaurant. The pace was speeding up as more and more diners arrived so we ordered quickly. We chose mostly Caesar salads but there was also calamari, fish and chips and steak and risotto. Food was good. Not great but good. Service was excellent. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Toilets clean. Good parking out the front or car park at the rear. Gets noisy but it is a large restaurant. Nicely Christmas decorations.
Amazing wood fired pizzas. Ordered over the phone for pick, really friendly staff and very accommodating to making changes to pizzas. The pizzas were hot on pick up and ready with the time we advised. The pizza base itself was a great consistency, nice and high on the crust with the wood fired charred effect. Tasty toppings, the leg ham was full of flavour and the pepperoni nice and spicy. Will definitely be ordering from here again! 01/07/18 Dined in this time, the tapas were really great, the saganaki was amazing. The bruschetta and Arancini were nice too. The paella was a bit disappointing as as the brownie. Great wine and great staff! Will be back for more tapas and pizza!
Normally we eat the Deck Restaurant but we wanted something more casual so tried the Bistro. What a disappointment. It’s as if they expect that good service and a lovely ambience substitutes for good food!! Well it doesn’t for us. We had the fish and chips priced at over $30. It was supposed to be ‘fresh’ flathead tails. We will never know if it was because it was all batter and the only flavor that I could detect was that of cod liver oil. In short we felt ‘ripped off’ so if you enjoy good food don’t bother.
Bistro dining at its best, this place has dropped the gold for years now I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the meals are always cooked to perfection and generous portions. Great service and I’m a nice day it’s great to sit out on the decking ... today we celebrated a birthday and we started with afew entrees and for my main I ordered the eye fillet tornados which is served with king prawns and veggies. This spot will always deliver great food and great service ..

Visited last night and ordered a brocolini salad with grilled calamari. I got a broccoli salad with fried calamari. When i spoke with staff and chef to have my meal corrected, they proceeded to argue with me. Charging us full price for our untouched meal. Rude, arrogant and disgraceful service. I'm a cafe owner and I will never visit your establishment again and will ensure that I tell all my community members to avoid dining with you as well. Just disgraceful Doyles!!
Wow, what an average place. Went there as my parents live locally and wanted a counter meal style dinner to celebrate a family members birthday. How disappointed was I. The food, while edible, was pretty bland and uninspiring.. not to mention the prices! I paid inner city prices for suburban blandness. Don't know what the people below are smoking...
The wok stirred calamari was very average, soaked in soy which covered everything I was expecting fresh stir fried veggies Not good value or nice to eat Thought I should be asked if I enjoyed my meal but that rarely happens
Lovely place to have a few drinks.. beautiful atmosphere. I love the views and location! Would recommend this place, especially on a nice summers day

nice setting but very overpriced for basic tasting food and small serving! Disappointing as expecting tasty pub style food.... certainly not.
Good place to come with the family. Quite deer for the price though but good family place! Will come back again with family probably soon!!!
