My husband and I visited Duck House for the first time this Valentine's Day. We both love Peking Duck, and we've been hearing about how amazing Duck House is for quite some time now. We made a reservation, and made sure to say in the notes that we wanted to order a duck. Peking duck was really good. I was little concerned when I saw the dish. Because the duck skin color didn’t look so desirable. But it was really delicious. We also ordered lobster, sczhuan spicy fish, eggplant, steamed cod. We enjoyed them all but the lobster, you could find some better places in Monterrey Park than Duckhouse. The restaurant is above average, I would say. The servers were not so impressive. Never served spoons and couldn’t call them even though there was a call button for servers. The bell didn’t work

But the food is great! the fried dragon balls are alright, but the peking duck( part of the Dine LA menu, decent portion) is so satifactorially buttery. Def sooth my homesickness for Chinese. I will def recommend you guys to participate the Dine LA events! Even if not for the event, their dishes look very inviting( a little pricy tho, better go with groups)

Very good food. Clean, comfortable, unlike most Chinese food place. The duck was cooked in proper Peking method, while most instead Chinese restaurant just give you Cantonese Roast Duck. Cantonese roast is not bad, but the skin is oily and not crispy. Proper Peking Duck skin is crispy in order to have the mouth feel when you wrap it in crape with the sauce and veggie Other food was very good too. It is definitely a worthwhile place to go for good quality Chinese food
The roasted duck was delicious. However, the other dishes were lacking and were comparable to Panda Express. The restaurant was busy but with only two people working, the wait time for ordering and receiving water was quite long.

The duck came out at room temperature, borderline cold. Aside from that, the flavor of everything was great. Highly r commend schezuan eggplant and hot sour soup. Mushu pork was good as well
