Stopped by with a little time to burn, only ate here 2 times so told bro to give me whatever for $15 and he sent me home loaded up in 10 min on the dot, super friendly people. great flavors, the spicy choice for sauce is nice and hot, but has a sweetness behind it that makes you go back for more, oxtail is good, not dry, same story with the chicken wings, all of it falls right off the bone. you can tell they make the banana pudding pretty fresh, bananas still had crispness to them and the wafers were still crispy, nice touch thank you will be back soon!
This was the best meal I've had in Freeport! The restaurant was fantastic. We enjoyed everything we ordered, from the rib tips to the jerk chicken and jerk wings. All the sides we tried were delicious too, especially the candied yams, which were simply incredible. The staff member who assisted us was very friendly as well. We can't wait to come back soon!
Every since I discovered this place iDon’t eat no where else in the city nothing on the menu is bad i eat here 2x aWeek just to support the business because it’s the best thing Freeport has to offer i love the flavors and they have different things everyday along w they favorites! I live nearby but i had never gone until today and my food was delicious! reasonably priced too i feel like a got a steal for the quantity and quality. I was going to just get white rice with my curry but the man who took my order suggested their spiced “dirty rice” and i was super happy with it :
Duckman's Jerk Shack is a hidden gem located in the heart of Freeport. As a fellow Jamaican and food enthusiast, I can confidently say that the food is as authentic as it gets! It’s truly amazing! The staff is also wonderful! This delightful taste of Jamaica keeps me returning every time!
This is the place. The place you hear about that if you didn’t know it was there you may drive right past. The place where the food does the talking and nothing else matters. Most authentic j I have had stateside. Well done! I will definitely be back. ?
I've never written a Google review before. The J Wings from Duckman's J Shack were so good, I felt obligated to. This is the best chicken I've ever had, and I know how bold of a statement that is.
