This restaurant would receive five stars if it weren't for one thing: charging $8 for a pint of Guinness is outrageous. The bar is reasonably priced for other drinks, like a $6 vodka cranberry, which were well made. The food was standard bar fare and tasty. The service was fast and friendly. However, the $8 price for a Guinness is steep compared to other places in the city that charge $7.50. Be cautious of beer prices as they are not listed. Despite the high Guinness price, focusing on affordable drinks could make this spot a great local hangout.
The staff here is wonderful, the drinks are tasty, and the food is delicious! This laid-back pub is definitely worth a visit. After 11 o'clock, you can enjoy $2 hot dogs for a light and tasty snack. They only accept cash, but everything on the menu is reasonably priced. Rhonda provides amazing service!
I first visited this restaurant about 25 years ago and it has never lost its charm. They offer delicious sandwiches, with friendly and unpretentious service, and a great variety of beers. The average cost per person is $10-20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy affordable drinks, popcorn, and even 2 hot dogs after 11 o'clock. It's so cool! We had plenty of drinks that were perfectly mixed. The service was amazing from everyone expect for this woman at the bar named rhonda... i heard bad things about her from my friends while visiting near the area but did not realize how rude she would actually be to a customer.... if she's not working i highly recommend going !
